Helpful Hints

  • You will need to create a free Submittable account to submit for our current opportunities. After selecting "submit" for the opportunity for which you are submitting, select "sign up" on the log in page to create your submittable account. 
  • For a majority of our current opportunities, you need to be a current NAEA member to be eligible for submission. If you are not sure if you are a current NAEA member or do not know your membership credentials, please click here to search for your membership record online or email members@arteducators.org.

Submit to Regional Division Directors Call for Applicantions

The position of Regional Division Director is a supportive volunteer leadership role that carries a 2-year term. Regional Division Directors work alongside their national Division counterparts on the NAEA Board of Directors to address issues and needs of members of their Division.

General responsibilities include:

  • Participation in monthly online meetings with the National NAEA Division Director and Regional team.
  • Assistance with planning and presenting at NAEA National Conventions and/or Preconventions Scoring Division awards and session proposals for the NAEA National - Convention
  • Additional Division-specific duties as needed.


    NAEA Regional Division Directors should:

  • Hold NAEA membership and have spent 3 or more years as a member of the Division in which they are applying. 
  • Regularly attend the NAEA National Convention. 
  • Be comfortable with planning and presenting as part of a team. 
  • Be able to commit to 5–8 hours per month for work on Division initiatives.

This is a self-nomination process only. Individuals cannot be nominated by others for the role of Regional Division Director.

Submit to NAEA Convention Scholarship Fund

The NAEA Scholarship Fund supports art educators seeking further professional learning opportunities through the many programs and events offered by NAEA. These scholarships support innovators in visual arts, design, and media arts education, providing access to professional learning, leadership experience, and connectivity to the field.

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (ED&I) Scholarships

The NAEA ED&I Commission offers a scholarship opportunity that is designed to increase equity, diversity, and inclusion in the field of visual arts, design, and media arts education and remove barriers to access for underserved and underrepresented individuals. The scholarship includes complimentary registration to the 2025 NAEA National Convention, up to three (3) nights of hotel accommodations in an NAEA designated hotel, and one year of membership to NAEA (not to be combined with state association membership). This scholarship is open to all visual arts and design educators. Up to 10 individuals will be selected, with a priority focus on first-time NAEA National Convention participants and Preservice educators.

First-Time Attendee Scholarships

This scholarship is designed to support visual art educators that are first-time attendees of an NAEA National Convention. Four First-Time Attendee Scholarships are awarded. This scholarship will cover complimentary registration to the 2025 NAEA National Convention, up to three (3) nights of hotel accommodations in an NAEA designated hotel; and a travel stipend of up to $300 for transportation, meals, and incidentals. This scholarship is open to all NAEA Members.

Art Educator Scholarships

This scholarship is designed to support visual art educators in their path of continued professional learning. Complimentary registration to the 2025 NAEA National Convention. Ten scholarships will be awarded. This scholarship is open to all NAEA Members.
